  1. Not even the tiniest but worried. They have plenty of good options, none of which are Terry. Moving Lewis there has to be one of the worst ideas ever. He's ridiculously fast, you don't put him at first.
  2. Next? A pitcher for the bullpen. I got no idea what will happen with Lewis and Martin.... I'd probably move Larnach to first or DH, and put Lewis in left, and have him give CC a break occasionally.
  3. Agreed. I think he needs to show he's healthy for a few weeks.....
  4. I'm ok with getting nothing back, if Miranda hits and they roll the dice with him.
  5. These awards aren't about prospect rankings, but who did the best....so I'm not sure it matters how old anyone is compared to their competition, right? Anyway, any of those are great picks. It is nice to have too many options for a change. BTW, yes, I agree, SWR is the man.
  6. Kepler isn't moving to first. He's one of the best RFers in the game right now (defensively). And, he's also hitting. They aren't going to mess with that. Miranda and Araez (sp?) are the first basemen until Sano is back (if Miranda hits, I deal Sano).
  7. I think they keep two veterans, for the mentoring.... But it's hard to see where they fit if the young guys are this good... So you may be right.
  8. You watch every game in the majors, write down every play, and compare him to every first baseman? Good for you....I don't have time for that.
  9. . If you have evidenced he's good, let's see it.
  10. Correa has been great on defense. And has a very different track record.
  11. By what measure is he not terrible at defense? Just search the internet, it's clear he's terrible.
  12. The stats that matters for this discussion is BABIP and that low number is not reflective of anything but bad luck. You can choose to think the advanced stats are garbage, but they are much more predictive of future production than the old timey stats. OTOH, his defense is atrocious, so I'm not sure it matters if he hits very well or not....because he'd have to hit better than well to be worth keeping (assuming AK is healthy or Arraez and play first).
  13. Same.....but I'd rather Larnach was up and AK was at first.....plus, how long until AK feels pain again?
  14. SS or C for me, given the rankings. But, I'd be ok with Lesko too.
  15. This thread reads like they lost..... Some people just have to complain every thread....
  16. Are there many left handed relief pitchers, on bad teams, that are good and available?
  17. The next time you feel like you are not good at what you are trying, remember that these are the best ballplayers on the planet. If they can do that occasionally, you can make a mistake and still be good at what you want to do.
  18. Hahahahahahahaha. Just. Wow. On a site with ridiculous takes, this is perhaps the most ridiculous ever.
  19. I'm ok with that, but I'd rather Larnach was DH or RF and LF and DH (can he play first?). Martin would be a plus defender in LF, and IMO an on base machine. I'm also ok if they just move him to AAA (where the variance in pitching quality is lower) for now.
  20. Was in a bar. They turned it on and Minnesota had a sixteen point lead....I thought.. wow two times in a bar, two times they win.... Such naivete...
  21. Those fangraphs grades are from last year. They haven't updated the Padres list yet this year....we'll see if their thought have changed at all. A super young hard throwing pitcher isn't a terrible lottery ticket....
