  1. There aren't many great pitchers available next year. They'll have to outbid everyone for one of three, maybe four.
  2. The first two are easy. As is Archer, given how few innings he pitches I'm unsure on Bundy. They have two healthy, likely good, pitchers next year. I'm not sure Bundy is worth 11 million, but I'm not sure he's not either.
  3. They weren't going to pitch the 8th and 9th, which is where it was lost
  4. Their two best pitchers lost that game before their worst pitcher took the mound. If they don't DFA Pagan, I'm not sure I can support this front office.
  5. Yikes! Guess I should have watched the auto fill more closely!
  6. I'd go Larnach, given what the OF looks like some days Then Ober. Though I'd consider Maeda instead if he could start. Then Jeffers. I really don't think people her compare gin to other catchers..... If we can go to guys that won't be back this year, Lewis would be next, as he can play SS and OF.
  7. I think SWR will be starting for the big league team no later than June of next year.
  8. This reads like the thread after the first Toronto game, where people said the twins had no chance. Not that I think they are as good as the elite teams.......
  9. Ridiculous. I couldn't even read it, the premise is so silly. I did read major league ready's response, which was correct.
  10. I like the Lee promotion. Any news on Preilip (sp?)?
  11. Truth. And the fact the people post otherwise just shows they aren't making a well thought out argument at all.
  12. I was certainly expecting, let alone hoping for, more. He's not bad, he's just not elite so far this year. Which they need.
  13. Not quite done yet, but The Sandman might be the best tv ever (though I dreaded episode 5, given the audio book version was DARK even for Gaiman). There just is no weak point in the show. No bad moment, or writing, or acting. It is great tv from second to second.
  14. Good luck to him! It would be great if he can play baseball.... But I just want him healthy for his sake.
  15. Couldn't disagree more. About fifty fifty positive and negative comments after another win against one of the better teams in the majors....
  16. I think it is about 25% he stays right now. He's been good, bit not great. There are other superstar SS FA next year.
  17. Iiirc, that's largely because of Archer. Yes, I think there are times they could go further. But to give Verlander as an example of today's baseball? Yesterday it was clear the starter was struggling, do people think he should have pitched another inning?
  18. It's pretty mind blowing with B at this point. I wonder if he's suffering from what happened to Ankiel. Just too much inner chatter
  19. I'm going to assume you aren't trolling and know he's an exception.
