    Knowledge changed. It makes no sense to bunt early in the game. Giving up outs is bad. And, they don't high five productive outs because they are good, they are just less bad than some other outcomes.

    We have people calling him names over and over. We have multiple threads saying he's stupid, doesn't care, only follows spreadsheets. What, exactly, would you like the shorthand to be? The team didn't quit, despite what we read on this site about them not having heart.

    Fangraphs just did a study on this. What matters is your overall record. You are no more likely to win or lose in the post season if you were better or worse against the best teams.

    20 pitchers pitched that much last year......if he pitches that many innings any year it will be a miracle (not because of the FO, but because he's not an ace type).

    Truth. All of that was amassed early, though. Imagine if he was healthy on that pace.....hence an honorable mention that it is bad he's not. Like, 1-2 wins bad (not Pagan bad, though).

    Bundy is the most under appreciated on this site for sure. He has more starts with 3 or less runs given up than more, and it isn't close.

    I'd give Pagan all five spots if possible. I don't get how three years of being BAD at your job allows you to stay on the team because you have "stuff". Buxton could be an honorable mention, frankly. Outside the start of the year, they've gotten little to nothing from him

    I'm not sure why Sisk isn't on the Twins. Congrats to all these players for a great month.

    Judge is going to hit around 65 home runs, and people are blaming the pitchers. I don't get why Pagan is on this roster. It's indefensible. He's been terrible for three years.
