The sooner Byron Buxton is no longer a Minnesota Twin in CF, the sooner the whole Twins Roster can flourish? Watched a Dan Hayes "X" post of BB passing on 4 Paddock pitches, 3 of the 4 close, if not, in the Strike Zone? All worth a Spring Training swing? We're talking "Training" folks? Even in the dirt, try a swing??? Love Byron...but we need to move on?“

You could make a case for Festa to be ahead of Paddack too. More WAR with 33% fewer innings pitched.

I agree with you, also if you are right that Bader plays the most outfield innings the offense will be really bad.

At least according to baseball savant, France makes Miranda look like a gold glove at first. France has a cumulative -17 outs above average over 5 seasons, or -3.4 per season compared to Miranda’s -4 over two seasons.

Disagreed, this team has a long history of hanging on to washed vets far too long. agreed, better to wait for results before declaring failure. I hope France is a 3 fWAR player, but I am skeptical and fear a repeat of Margot and Gallo

Santana fielded well, and was the 13th best 1B in MLB last year. He was fine, didn’t deserve getting DFA’d. We’ll see if he can repeat, but he had down seasons leading up. Donnie barrels was a fine bat first utility guy. He didn’t deserve DFA. Nelson Cruz had a last gasp, he didn’t deserve getting DFA’d, the Twins got lucky sticking with good players is a good thing. The problem is sticking with bad players. Bad players make your team worse. Not only did the two players I mentioned make the team worse, they did so while getting starters innings. No risk, no reward, but you have to cut bait if you make a mistake. I don’t have a problem with the mistake, it’s failure to course correct.
