  1. I'll echo what many have commented already and I've commented this on articles before. I've been a member of Twins Daily for 11 years now this month. I couldn't tell you the last time I went into the forums to look at posts, let alone comment on one. Probably a few reasons for that, but the Twins Daily specific reason is the content on the front page. I still come to Twins Daily every day during the season to look over the minor league reviews but that's about it. Most of the rest of the content on the front page has been in clear decline the last 2 years or so. Daily there are articles posted that are obvious clickbait, random hypotheticals with clearly no point, or spreading negativity regarding the team/franchise. Even right now during a 10 game winning streak there are negative articles on the front page or article concepts that are completely pointless. Seeing that on the front page makes me not want to explore the rest of the site. Not only that, many of those topics should be forum posts instead of front page articles anyway.
  2. No update yet “Nothing new on Jenkins other than still recovering from the hamstring,” Falvey said. “Standard hamstring strain.” https://www.mlb.com/twins/news/twins-prospects-injury-updates?t=mlb-pipeline-coverage
  3. We need to get him and Emmanuel Rodriguez in a room to trade ideas on when to swing at pitches
  4. 2013 me is absolutely stoked for the Flo Rida concert (2024 me is too)
  5. I bet they could cure it by simply making contact with the baseball. I don't know, though.
  6. Why in the world is this an article allowed on the front page of Twins Daily? This is a joke. The articles on the front page of Twins Daily have been in clear decline the past 1-2 years with obvious click bait, ridiculous hypotheticals that no one asked for, and now this. How about the "Other Baseball" forum? Or better yet, "Sports Bar". Unfortunately, this article is hardly sports related. See the rest of the comments for proof. Matthew, I see your profile marks you as an administrator. For you to post this article on the front page that has nothing to do with Twins baseball and filled with your own bias and political opinions is completely absurd. Whether what you put in this article is true or not, it's clear your intent wasn't to talk about baseball.
  7. Outside the obvious concerns of all of these guys being 35+ with the exception of Lee, where would they play exactly?
  8. Whatever happens in this series, it won't be decided by what Houston's players did in the playoffs 5 years ago.

  10. Concerns over Wallner's demise were greatly exaggerated
  11. Larnach was given a starting job as the clean up hitter out of spring training and did nothing with it. You can't be given a better opportunity as a bat first corner outfielder. The Twins don't need to do anything with him unless he proves he deserves another shot.
  12. Would be a huge boost for the postseason if he is a legit reliever The Winder and Sands slander seems a bit undeserved. Not sure how they could fulfill their roles much better than they have.
  13. Not saying this is what I'd do or what I'm hoping for, but I think there's a much higher chance of Kirilloff replacing Stevenson than this thread is indicating.
  14. He's going to have to hit like he did last year to earn a spot on the team. If he does the Twins will find room for him or trade him for an asset.
  15. I don't blame Cleveland at all for using a position player to pitch in the 6th. They have to win the next two games or their season is all but over. At the same time, I hope we put up 30 on them for doing it.
  16. Danny De Andrade hasn't been talked about enough this season. I see plenty of catchers in the system with some interesting offensive stats. How many of them are legit catchers?
  17. It was a great crowd last night, especially for a Tuesday night game. It was very loud at Target Field for Wallner's grand slam
