    I say give him one more year as the everyday DH with occasional starts in RF. He's cheap as can be. See if he can hit 30 homers without striking out 200 times. If he breaks out, great. If not, add him to the list of corner OF we need to dump. Outman, Roden, Larnach, Keirsey. Guys like Jenkins, Rodriguez, Gonzalez, Fedko and Rosario are who we are going to rely on.

    If the Twins are going to spend anywhere it has to be a first baseman and in the bullpen. Everywhere else I assume will be filled from within the organization.

    I think Culpeper is going to be our long term SS which leaves Lee at 3rd or as a capable infield utility guy.

    I really think Culpeper is our SS of the future with Lee and Marek as utility back up IF types.

    You need a smart GM in order for your teams success to heavily rely on trades. I don't trust Falvey to make good trades. Aside from the Duran and maybe Bader trade at the deadline, I thought the overall return that we got was very underwhelming. Why on earth would we want Roden and Outman?!?

    Give it to him, he more than deserves it. He's playing everyday on a cheap team friendly contract on a crappy rebuilding team. Just about anyone else of his caliber would have jumped ship for a big market playoff team by now. Buck is the face of the franchise and if we ever do lose him, the fans lose their last reason to come to the ballpark at all.

    Hopefully Mendez can keep on raking. The Twins need athletic players that can HIT!

    He's our best bet at catcher until Tait and the kid we got for Paddack are ready in a few years. Extend Jeffers a few more years and sign a legit backup. Gasper should be nowhere near a major league field.

    2026 is a make or break year for Lewis. If he has another year like '25 or has another injury riddled season, it may be time to look at contingency plans for third base. If he can stay healthy all year and have a successful all star season like Buxton just had, it could speed up this rebuild a ton. One less position to fill.

    They need to sign or trade for a real legit first baseman. If not, Royce Lewis may be the long term answer, if his bat can wake up again. Maybe we get lucky and Fedko's 2025 breakout was for real and he can carry it over to the MLB?

    Another SS likely to be drafted by the Twins. Culpeper, Marek and now maybe another one this year. As long as one of these guys ends up a productive big league, I don't care what position they end up at.

    Buxton in center for sure. I like Martin in LF if he can hit for avg, get on base and steal some bags. Outman and Roden should be nothing more than minor league depth. I'm guessing Larnach will be traded, making us keep Wallner. I'll give him another year to see if he can produce, but not in RF. He's a DH or, if he can play a passable 1b, maybe he sticks there until a better option presents itself. Hopefully Jenkins, Rodriguez, Fedko or Gonzalez has a hot start to 26 and can claim an everyday OF gig.

    Keaschal deserves the award. Hopefully next year we will all be arguing over who deserves the 2026 award between guys like Jenkins, Rodriguez, Gonzalez, Fedko, Culpeper etc......

    SWR can be a solid #5 in the rotation, and if Martin can hit like he did this year, he could be a solid LF option at least until Jenkins, Rodriguez, Gonzalez and Rosario are ready. Clemens doesn't inspire much confidence in me. He'll run into some home runs and can cover a few different positions, but he shouldn't be anything more than a backup or platoon option. Unfortunately I see him as our starting first baseman next year...

    As far as OF's go, Roden, Outman and Keirsey can all be released. Maybe bring them back on a minor league desk but they in no way should take up s 40 man roster spot. One of Larnach or Wallner are probably gone too, the one we keep being a DH only. Martin has shown he can be a good LF or 4rth outfielder depending on how fast Jenkins, Rodriguez, Gonzalez and/or Fedko establish themselves. I'd much rather see these guys along with Culpeper and Eels than one year stop gap veterans who are only major league players on a team like the Twins. Let the kids play and see what they can do. Our pitching is where any money needs to be used....

    Sure stolen bases are nice, but the Twins need Royce to get his bat right first. If he's going to be our long term third baseman he needs to hit and hit for power.

    I don't think we'll sign anyone other then waiver wire, DFA, minor league deal type relievers. Bring in a bunch of nobodies and hope a few will stick. We are probably trading one of Lopez or Ryan and will be calling up lots of prospects and minor leaguers. How long this rebuild will last all depends on how well our top prospects adapt to the majors. If we get lucky and Keaschal doesn't have a sophomore slump and guys like Jenkins, Rodriguez, Gonzalez, Culpeper and maybe Fedko work out, we could have a real interesting lineup. Our pitching is what will take some work. None of our upper level minors pitchers had a very good year in 25. We need guys like SWR, Zebby, Bradley and Abel to stick as starters. Guys like Adams, Festa, Raya and Prelipp are probably relievers. Most likely a long losing season, but should still be fun watching all the major league debuts and players of the future.... hopefully...

    I think Keaschal is the real deal. Even with the book getting out on him, even while he's "slumping" he's still getting on base, getting hits and driving in runs. Not every player has to hit 30 home runs. If Luke can hit .280 or better, steal bases and play good d at second, the Twins should be elated. If Martin keeps hitting as well I'd love a top of the lineup of Martin, Keaschal, Buxton....

    Fedko is having a monster season. Really glad he's getting time at first base. Maybe if he has a real good spring they will roll with a platoon of Fedko and Clemens at first. The OF is suddenly getting crowded. I love Wallner's power, but I don't think he's going to make enough contact, especially if he never learns to hit the high fast all. Larnach seems like the better overall hitter. I think the Twins could definitely move on from at least one of them and DH whoever is left. The outfield will be some interesting combo of Buxton, Martin, Jenkins, Gonzalez, Rodriguez and maybe some Fedko. Outman and Roden do not seem like major leaguers to me, especially if they are taken NG at bats away from these other guys. Lee should be able to hold down SS well enough until Culpeper is ready to take over and Keaschal should be solid at second. With all this young talent, there is a lot of potential. There will be growing pains, but I like the look of our potential lineups the next few years. The pitching is what worries me.....

    I think after our top 3 of Lopez Ryan and Ober, SWR is a number 4. I'd put him above Zebby, Bradley, Abel and Festa at this point

    I love a lineup starting with Martin, Keaschal then Buxton. If we can ever find a power hitting first baseman it would really lengthen the lineup. Maybe Fedko works out there. My guess is we'll be seeing Clemens at first next year....

    I think we stick with Lee at SS next year, at least until Culpeper is ready to take over full-time. Our OF is suddenly getting real crowded. Outman and Roden shouldn't be in MLB, and Larnach could probably net us a solid reliever in a trade. Martin has been playing and hitting well enough to be a starting left fielder or 4rth OF. I'd go with Martin, Buxton and Jenkins, with Gonzalez and Rodriguez following. Wallner should be a DH. At first base I'd see if Fedko can be an option along with Clemens. I'd rather see them sign someone, but I don't think that'll happen until our prospects are all in the majors and the team looks to be competing.

    If Fedko can continue hitting like this in the MLB I wonder if we see a platoon of Fedko and Clemens at 1st base next year. Or will they sign someone like Josh Naylor to a one year deal?

    I really don't understand. With a season this lost, why are we not using the expanded roster to audition young guys for positions next year? Outman is beyond embarrassing with his 50 percent K rate. Why not give Mccusker starts, he's already on the roster. Why not let Fedko get starts at first to see if he's a viable option there next year. We should be holding open auditions in the pen especially. Other than Sands and Topa, I don't expect any of these guys to be back next year, so why not try out guys like Raya, Adams, Prelipp, Morris or anyone else who looks like they can remotely get outs. We have major holes in our roster to fill, why the heck not use the rest of the year to see if we can fill any of them internally?!?
