If anyone here can name a manager that could manage this team to a .500 record please comment.

Manny Ramirez was an atrocious left fielder. BUT, if you can hit, there is a place for you in the MLB,

Giving up on Lewis this early would be a mistake. He has shown flashes in the past and should be given a chance. It's easy to say you don't like his attitude, but playing baseball is his job. He is in the prime of his career and I see nothing wrong with him trying to maximize his payday. Most people don't wake up every morning and think how can I maximize the profits of my widget making employer. You may disagree with Royce but he is trying to maximize his pay.

Strange? Colorado has $1 beers, before every game, in right field only. Right field is full of 20-30 year old fans at every game. The Twin consistently do it wrong. The Rockies put a terrible product on the field and yet the average 10k more fans than the Twins do. The 2027 lock out will be refreshing.

Fun read. Thank you for putting that together.
  26. Chad Freyer
    Your idea would improve attendance.
  27. Chad Freyer
Maybe the outside investment groups are counting on a lockout. After the lockout, they sell, along with the Pohlads and make a tidy profit. Or, they will convince the Pohlads to spend a bunch of money to improve the team and buy the Twins outright. No one knows the future.
  28. Chad Freyer
Sadly, that's the best they got.

    Thank you. I enjoyed that.

I would have serious doubts about my long term health if if was drafted by or traded to the Minnesota Twins. Life is too short.
  33. Chad Freyer
    Spot on, mate.

If you score zero runs, it doesn't matter how may you give up.
