    The decisions that the FO/Rocco make are just baffling. This would've been a good game to stick Wallner in there, but apparently that doesn't fit in with the master plan. As others have said...why did they bring him up if all he's gonna do is ride the pine? They'll probably send him back to StP before he gets any meaningful playing time.

    They have to find a way to keep Julien's bat in the lineup. Whether it's at 2nd, DH, or even at 1B. The guy can flat out rake. We desperately need guys that can do that. If they ship him back to StP...it'll be a damn shame.

    Buxton at the 3 spot again! The guy should be hitting 7th or 8th in the lineup. What's the point of bringing Wallner up, just to keep him on the bench? Frustrating stuff.

    If the Twins let Popkins go in the middle of the season, or before the end of the season...I'd be absolutely shocked. I just can't see it happening. If that were to somehow happen, what's the point of bring in Lawson? I don't think that anything would change over the course of the rest of this season. It's not like turning a light switch, and all of a sudden we'll take better AB's and not strike out every time up. This is the way it's going to be for the rest of this season. After that...who knows?

    Kind of a questionable thing to say on his part, but I'd be willing to bet he's pitching somewhere next season. Probably not here, but somewhere.

    For me...Gallo and Kepler are 1A and 1B. They both need to go. The Gallo signing was a mistake...a risk that didn't work out. Kepler didn't develop the way that everyone hoped he would. It's time for him to move on and see if one of the young guys like Wallner can hold down RF. If there's any team that would be interested in either of them, please work out a deal. It almost doesn't even matter what the return is. If not, then DFA them. We easily can do just as well as we are, without them.

    I agree. I'm an old guy and I'd like the players wearing their individual team uni's rather than "National" or "American" uni's. Wearing an AL or NL team hat would be enough for me. I've been watching the All Star Game since the mid 1960's...always enjoyed it.

    I'd be all in on that one, but the Cards need pitching, not position players.

    I'd just like the FO to level with the fans and tell us EXACTLY wtf is really going on with him. That would end all the speculation. Is there permanent damage to his knee, that will never improve? What did they discover when they went in there the first time? Does he need another procedure done? Why can't he play the OF, but he can still run/slide/etc? Just tell the truth...what's the big secret?

    If he's lights out with StP, and so far he's been very good...then why not see if you can trade him? Maybe someone would be interested in getting him? Trade him for a decent RP, or even a bat? I'd explore that, before I'd stick him in our rota. Unless we have an injury to one of our starters, we don't need him.
