  1. I expect Arcia to land somewhere and he'll platoon and only face righties and he'll hit 20+ HRs a year. He's not going to be just like David Ortiz, but maybe Ortiz lite.
  2. Yeah, I know he's hitting mostly singles, but at least he's not terrible.
  3. Wow, Suzuki is batting .250. He's stealthily become a better hitter as of late.
  4. I think you worded this incorrectly... I think Arcia's DFA is impending. Molitor likes Santana much better as an OF. Arcia's only hope to hang on the roster is to hope Park gets sent down or Buxton/Kepler go back to AAA.
  5. You'll appreciate my jinx once the Twins finish one game worse than the Braves so that they can get the 1st overall pick in next year's draft.
  6. Is it just me, or whenever the Twins aren't hitting in runs with HRs, they're hitting in runs with groundouts... Well, at least they're not striking out a billion times.
  7. It looks like the Twins will stay undefeated against the Angels, at least until tomorrow. They're the only team they can consistently beat this season...
  8. I heard (from the announcers) he was having some back pain, so that's probably why.
  9. I'm glad the Twins took my advice and called Boshers up. He's looking good so far.
  10. Is Nunez juicing? All the more reason to trade him!
  11. Nunez is going to challenge Park and Sano for the HR lead pretty soon.
  12. I don't have any stats, but I've noticed that Ryan Pressly has been better as of late. I hope this doesn't jinx him...
  13. Of course... the Twins load the bases and get their only run off a HBP... well, at least they didn't get no runs. So, who's betting that the Rays score next inning?
  14. It's good to see Park having a nice game.
  15. Wow. There goes the lead. The Twins currently hold the all-time record for the shortest average lead at 8.5 minutes.
  16. Kepler! It's good to see him getting a chance in the majors.
  17. The Twins are reporting that Plouffe has a MCL sprain. That's going to send him to the DL, right? Knowing the Twins, they'll probably play Nunez at 3B instead of Sano. If Plouffe does hit the DL, I'd like to see Beresford come up as a bench player (but they'd have to open a spot on the 40 man for him).
  18. Now THIS is what I imagined the Twins offense to be before the season started.. Minus Robbie Grossman, of course. Also, nice job, umps. They blew two calls in one inning (the fan interference call when there wasn't a fan even close to touching the ball and Park's foul ball that was called fair)
  19. Sano ties Park with the team lead in HRs - 9. I think Sano's returning to form. Now, can Park just start hitting again?
  20. I just don't get how Jepsen, May, and Pressly have all been terrible. Is their water poisoned or something?
  21. And Jepsen will probably keep his closer role...
  22. Wow. Right when the Twins try to rally, Suzuki takes three straight strikes, and all of them were definitely in the strike zone (yes, even that last one). Ugh.
  23. I'm checking in a little late. Can the "Nolasco's rebounding!" narrative die now? He's been pretty terrible in May.
