    The silver lining is that we don't get to see Jepsen blow the game. It's too bad the Twins don't understand how to hit with runners in scoring position.

    So, who thinks Jepsen will blow the lead in the 9th inning? I think it's likely thanks to the fact that the Twins haven't hit in any insurance runs.

    Rosario has been terrible and Mastroianni shouldn't be starting. So Santana's kinda the main guy at CF, unfortunately. Yeah, Polanco needs to be in the lineup. It has to suck for him to finally get a chance but then Nunez starts hitting .350 so he's glued to the bench.

    Twins lineup: 1. Joe Mauer (L) 1B 2. Eduardo Nunez ® SS 3. Miguel Sano ® RF 4. Trevor Plouffe ® 3B 5. Byung Ho Park ® DH 6. Brian Dozier ® 2B 7. Oswaldo Arcia (L) LF 8. Kurt Suzuki ® C 9. Danny Santana (S) CF Wow. This might be one of the first lineups that I actually like. Good job, Molitor, you finally bumped Dozier down in the lineup.

    In my eye tests, it seems Park has cut down on the awkward check-swings. He's seemingly caught up to the game's speed. The sky's the limit for him.

    Hopefully this rainout gives Molitor time to re-think his lineup. [for the better, I hope]

    I mostly wanted to see Park bat behind Mauer, so Mauer hitting leadoff doesn't excite me that much. I am interested to see how it'll play out.

    He came up limping after running to first base. On the bench is: Dozier, Centeno, and Mastroianni. Danny Santana is playing 2B (I don't think he's ever played there before).

    The problem is his pitch count is getting really high. He's on pace to go 5 innings.

    Berrios is having a hard time throwing strikes... he's at 24 balls and 24 strikes right now.

    Meyer has thrown 2 good starts in Rochester, and now everyone here demands he starts in the majors. Has everyone forgotten that Meyer was so bad in the AAA rotation last year that he was demoted to the bullpen? He's not ready to be a major league starter yet. I would like the Twins to decide if he's going to be a starter or a reliever. Either would be fine, but if he's gonna be a starter, give him some more starts at AAA.

    OK. Chief nailed this one. So it seems like Duffey will stick in the rotation, with Meyer as a backup if Duffey's still hurt.
