    I understand that ticket prices have gone up, and obviously concessions are grossly overpriced, but I don't think that's a big part of the equation. Every other sport aside from maybe MLS charges more for tickets, and charges about the same for concessions. I don't see a lot of empty seats for the Wolves and Wild when they're doing well. I don't see any empty seats for the Vikings even when they suck. I think MLB has mismanaged the sport, particularly broadcasting it, to the point where there are not enough baseball fans to fill stadiums early in the season, even if the team is good. Maybe we get more turnout later in the year if the Twins build some momentum. Maybe the Twins do well but don't see a surge in attendance until next year.

    For the record, I also plan on dragging all of my friends who are even nominally interested in baseball to Target Field as well.

    Personally I think my family is going to be going to more games when the school year is over.

    The White Sox's schedule looks quite a bit softer for them after the all-star break. We need to build up all the wins we can before then.

    I feel like it's time for an article about how good the bullpen has been.

    I really like this Royce / Gordon / Buxton block in the lineup, all the speedy guys together.

    Tuning in late, I am maybe even more loyal to Kramarczuk than I am to the Twins. Gotta have that bratwurst. I usually buy one nine-dollar Summit at the start of the game, feel kind of stupid, and walk to Inbound brewing after the game for one more.

    Guardians has a nice ring to it though, Cleveland has got the right idea.

    I don't understand why they had to change the name to something so boring. What's wrong with the CLASSIC team name, loved by all? Sorry, I don't care who I offend. To me, they'll always be the Washington Senators.

    I feel as good about this loss as I can feel about a blowout loss. Plenty of baserunners, just need to start sealing the deal next time.

    Cano looks pretty good for SHORT relief. Contreras looks like a perfectly fine guy with a pulse if you need a guy. Gordon showed a lot of spirit as the new Tortuga but lacks the dumpy intensity to stick at the position.

    Looking on the bright side, I just saw a picture of Cano with his hat off and I'm very delighted. He has hair like Bert from Sesame Street.

    He certainly doesn't seem too interested in wasting a lot of time out there.

    My thoughts on Cano's debut last night: He looks terrible! He doesn't even pitch at all or do anything! (Though I admit I'm looking at a sss)

    I agree wholeheartedly on SWR, but would take Steer or Wallner or Julien over Martin until he works his way out of whatever he's going through.
