    Dobnak and Alcala are on their way back to beef up the bullpen. Maeda will be in the rotation by 9/15. We are gonna have a pitching staff that can get us deep into the playoffs. Pass me another Hard Smeltzer ?

    Send Miranda down now for Lewis before todays game. Bring AK up if kepler is on DL tomorrow. Sign DK to a minor league deal as soon as the whiteys release and pay him. He can throw batting practice across the river until he gets it together in late August.

    Gordon belongs here. He is growing into a major leaguer and will his his prime over the next 6 years. He is a late bloomer that can do most everything and will only better with more playing time.

    Lewis Thorpe was released and I know he sucked but did the organization release an official statement/reason?

      I couldn't find anything, but I don't think it is common for a team to release a statement or reason for a player's release.

      He was removed from the 40-man. Thus became a St. Paul Saint, and was cut from that team. Just shows up as a minor league transaction. Like the recent released of Ryan Mason from the Saints. 

      Thorpe, an Australian, will soon be pitching for the Kansas City Monarchs in the American Association Indy League.

    This is an outstanding deal! Paddack gets to restart his career and we got rid of Rooker. Rainbows ? and unicorns ? are everywhere!!!

    I’d bat Arraez at 1, 2 or 6 but thats just me.

    Arraez batting 8 or 9 isn’t going to happen.

    Twins are a young team with a mass of AAA talent. We just need 2-3 of them to be AAAA talent by June…. I know…. Thats too much to count on to become a playoff team.

    I sure hope gray doesn’t suck. Chase has a long way to go but he will be a stud!

    Does he really need to be ranked? All he really has to do is play his way into a lineup that has no legit SS.

    Carew is my fav twin. Puckett had the better career because he won the big games. The grind is admirable but doesn’t beat the heroics.

    The jury is still out. We need to win a ws and have Alcala and Celestino in the line up in the next 3-4 years to call it a win. If that doesn’t happen, it’s just a push to a dream that 2 youngsters can be better than a known commodity.
