Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 If my ears did not betray me today, I believe Bert called Willingham "Winningham". Maybe he has a grower for the actress Mare Winningham?
righty8383 Verified Member Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Oh, we're live!?HAHAHAHAHAHAH! That was classic. They could have made a snickers commercial about that one. Wanna get away...
greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Liriano has 'ace type stuff'
powrwrap Verified Member Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 "You are hereby circled." [unbelievable nobody had this one yet.] "Take that pitch and go the other way with it."
snepp Verified Member Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 With that uppercut swing.... ....and he DID NOT miss it.
TwinsFanLV Provisional Member Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 ....without express written consent of the Min-EE-soooo- ta Twins.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 And let's not forget his numerous rants about what the definition of a quality start should be!
jctwins Verified Member Posted July 30, 2012 Posted July 30, 2012 Adding and subtracting. You are hereby circled!

big dog Verified Member Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 Nobody cared about pitch counts in my day.
TheMind07 Verified Member Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 HAHAHAHAHAHAH! That was classic. They could have made a snickers commercial about that one. Wanna get away... I believe the "wanna get away..." commercial were for Southwest Airlines... Snickers are "you're not yourself when you're hungry"
Alex Verified Member Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 With that uppercut swing.... ....and he DID NOT miss it. Had both these in the Arcia HR.
Boom Boom Verified Member Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 By my California math That pitch was right there Duck-fart (evidently retired by Twins braintrust)
chavez Provisional Member Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 "He does a good job getting to that balance point" just about sums up his anaylisis of every pitcher in the major leauges.
Ben B Verified Member Posted April 23, 2013 Posted April 23, 2013 A co-worker pointed this out to me several years ago and it has since driven me crazy. Bert will say "right there" in almost every sentence. Like "That was a good slider right there" or "He goes inside right there for the strikeout." It's like noticing every time somebody says "um" when they're talking. I can't not notice it now!
Alex Verified Member Posted April 24, 2013 Posted April 24, 2013 I think that Twins fans are ready and deserving of a more intellectually stimulating broadcast. *They are not the broadcasters we need, nor the broadcasters we deserve right now.
