Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Had to be close to 440 feet. ba-dum-tsshh.lol ... um ... ok ... are you just playing with me?
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Mrs Chief and I are making the trip east to Las Cruces tomorrow to take in the big UM-NMSU football game. My son is traveling west from Clovis to meet us. You may be older than I thought. I looked up Clovis on Wikipedia and found this: The Clovis culture appears around 11,500 RCYBP (radiocarbon years before present[2]), at the end of the last glacial period, characterized by the manufacture of "Clovis points" and distinctive bone and ivory tools. Archaeologists' most precise determinations at present suggest that this radiocarbon age is equal to roughly 13,500 to 13,000 calendar years ago.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 lol ... um ... ok ... are you just playing with me?Yes. Something on the order of 3 1/2 hrs. Not sure how long it'll take to find parking near the stadium. There'll literally be dozens of cars there.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 If Presley or Thomas (or both) could just get on base for Dozier ... walk-off homerun

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 If only someone had a rally avatar who could win this one! Until Ashbury with Olivia arrives. Let's give this Ziggy Barkdust thing another try.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Pinto is having a first week similar to Wilson Ramos. Pinto got a homer, while Wilson never homered for the Twins. To quote Calvin Griffith about another young Twins' catcher "I really like this kid".
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 (radiocarbon years .I read somewhere that's what KC used during Jamie Carroll's physical before they agreed to the trade.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Until Ashbury with Olivia arrives. Let's give this Ziggy Barkdust thing another try.Ziggy Barkdust is a little scary. But in a good way. Kinda like the guy you really want to date because you know your parents would not approve.
glunn Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Until Ashbury with Olivia arrives. Let's give this Ziggy Barkdust thing another try. That worked like I expected. The opposite of Olivia.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 That did not end the way I had envisioned.
Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 That worked like I expected. The opposite of Olivia. Well, No biggy. I am still trying to work out the kinks. I'll throw him out there tomorrow... Hoo Hoo Ha Ha Ha!!! (meant to be the laugh of an evil scientist)
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Quite a bit to like in another loss. I like Mr. Pinto, Colabello had another long ball, and I wasn't really bummed by Pelfrey's outing. He was very, very close to getting out of his one trouble inning with one run, but the wind pushing a foul ball into the stands and Clete Thomas being unable to corral a foul fly cost him big time. Pelfrey is throwing pretty hard, the ball is moving and I think he'll be better next year.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Well' date=' No biggy. I am still trying to work out the kinks. I'll throw him out there tomorrow... Hoo Hoo Ha Ha Ha!!! (meant to be the laugh of an evil scientist)[/quote']Then that would look like ... MWAHAHAhahahaHAHA
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Alex Presley is not a good base stealer.

What was the result of that at bat? I can't remember. Like to have that first inning back for sure. FIrst pitch of the game, Pedro boots a ground ball. Next batter, wild pitch due to a cross up. Ground ball and sac fly later, 1-0.
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 You are the best daughter ever. Jury's still out. My daughter's pretty good, I just haven't gotten sick yet.
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 If only someone had a rally avatar who could win this one! Ack! I got busy with sumpin', and completely lost track of the game. This one was winnable. It's on me. / edit - one loss closer to a good draft pick, sez some
ashbury Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 If Presley or Thomas (or both) could just get on base for Dozier ... walk-off homerun Psst, Gardy - you didn't read the script.
Shane Wahl Verified Member Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Pinto is exciting to watch. That ball was pounded. Colabello has also started to make headway. JUST GIVE PLAYERS TIME and stop messing around with oldsters and AAAA players like Doumit and Presley/Thomas, respectively.

He turns 30 next month a week before Thomas does.
