notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 2011? 2012? 2013? This will be my last negative post for awhile. I'd like to get it out of my system so I can move on and attempt to enjoy the remainder of the season.

freshinthehouse Verified Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 2011. That season was a kick to the biscuits after coming off a 90+ win season. It was apparent we were gonna stink these last two years.
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 It has to be 2011. Everything went wrong. As the post above says, we completely fell down the division. Plus we lost the most games that year. And Nishioka.
Longdistancetwins Verified Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 1982. And I lived to tell.Me too, but there was humor and hope in '82. Lots of media coverage, too, and that meant something for me, living far away in the per-Internet days. Still have the Sports Illustrated cover of Herbie entitled "Best of the Worst" or something like that.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 1982. And I lived to tell. 1982 at least had the advantage of seeing Hrbek, Gaetti, Viola et al getting experience and pretty much playing .500 ball the last couple months. My pick for worst was the strike struck 1981 season. Absolutely dreadful.

Thegrin Verified Member Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 2011 wasn't expected. 2012 we thought the starters might revive. This year has been full of question marks. I vote for 2000 with a 69 - 93 record. LeTroy Hawkins led the team with 14 Saves. Guzman had 70 more at bats than anybody else. The Soul Patrol was in the outfield. Radke, Milton & Mays all had +4 ERA's. They should have been better. No wonder contraction was considered.
