He's on year 3 of a 5 year long rookie deal, I believe they aren't even allowed to extend him until after the completion of his third sesaon.

Jalen Redmond, who was absolutely incredible today, is going to get a monster contract and will deserve it. He was great last year and looks Pro Bowl caliber so far this year. He is a restricted free agent next season so he won't hit the open market, but would have to be tendered if they don't give him an extension.

Yeah I wish we could extend Turner now… the way he’s trending he’s going to cost a ton at the end of this season. 

I’ve gotta say I was very skeptical of the DL entering this season. Redmond needed to become the alpha leader of that group and he is. Banks also had a great game today

You can tell how much it helps him to have guys like LDR, Orange, and Banks also causing chaos so that he can move around, find good matchups, and play dominant.

He was an absolute stud today.  I've been worried about Banks and he looked good too.

I saw a debate about which franchise is worse to be a fan of, the Browns or the Jets. I don’t think there any debate. The Jets are so bumbling and incompetent year after year, on and off the field.

People online are having a field day with the Caleb Williams cart video now that we know he just pulled his hamstring. Making jokes like “stubbed my toe on the bed frame” “legs fell asleep sitting on the toilet” and “paper cut on my dominant hand”

He’s not gonna be able to escape that meme for several years.

I personally wouldn't give him a hard time, because most times athletes are crying on a cart, it's not from the pain, it's because everything they worked so hard for just went down the drain. And he certainly looked like a guy who thought his injury was significant.

It does make me think that he must not have any experience with a significant injury though. 

Of course, everyone also saw Jayden Daniels gruesomely dislocate his elbow, and not only did he not immediately go down, he had the wherewithal to stay on his feet and try to throw the ball.

Fair or not to Caleb Williams, people aren't going to let this down for a long time. People never forgot Paul Pierce being pushed off the NBA court in a wheelchair writing in pain, only to re-enter the same game for the Celtics.

Yeah, and it's Chicago, not a smaller, more polite market like Minnesota or Green Bay or Cleveland.
