nice and all   but ??    will it matter

Game by game, the point is to compete to win. In that sense, yes, it matters. It always matters. Even for KC, the team, when they sweep.

True...regardless... he still is better not being in CF or 2nd...at least this year...he has been a thoroughbred otherwise

If only Lewis could learn to hit the outside pitch to right field like Culpepper just did.

He'd be a .290 hitter with 25 HR if he did!

I realize that the standings matter...but I am aTwins fan...individual performances...happy when they win..I have seen some horrible seasons over the years...but it is this damn addiction that I have had since a kid in the 60s

Yeah...I am also.....but i am not going to stop following them. Things like Luke's catch...a long homer by Bell yesterday..I was at the games in Atlanta in 91 as I was living in the south...I watch few Vikings games...but i played HS baseball and fastpitch softball later..love the sport..hate to see this lock down looming

I still think there's a chance his arm is still recovering from TJ surgery and might be improved with therapy and time.

Luke is a nice ballplayer, but the long-term plan for him should probably be that he's a key piece in a trade that brings back a solid player, e.g., Arraez for Lopez-plus.
