Things to think about for tonight's game:

1. Think about Kyle Gibson... When going through a struggling season such as this one. Rookie pitchers with potential become our dreams. Let's hope this dream is a good one.

2. Think about Pacific Time... I'm supposed to be watching baseball at 7:10 Central at the latest. I'm supposed to be in bed around 11PM. California messes up everything.

3. Think about Tommy Hanson... A shadow of the once highly thought of Braves prospect. The guy used to throw upper 90 bullets. Now he looks like he is pitching hurt perpetually. He's almost painful to watch. The fastball is much slower.

4. Think about Ryan Doumit... .174 in his past 23 at bats... PM to Ryan Doumit. Knock it off!!!

5. Think about toothbrushes... The modern day toothbrush was invented in by William Addis in England... That's right England... If it was invented anywhere else... It would be called a Teethbrush.

Great setup Brian.

4. I think that last night Doumit made the final out in at least 3 innings. I was sitting less than 50 feet from him as he walked to right field and could tell that he was frustrated.

Last night was a good win for the Twins, despite Hicks' failure to slide and Dozier overrunning the pop up in right field. The Angels seem to be demoralized and I hope that the Twins can capitalize again tonight.

I assume you are not ball parking it tonight.

Some say you shouldn't kick a dog when it's down. Understood.

Replace the word "Dog" with "Angel", and I'm lacing up my steel toed boots and getting after it.

Note: I am still bitter about the 2002 ALCS

Not tonight. I have had some family matters that have been pressing so I bought tickets for only one game this year. But I will be watching at home and sharing some of my experiences from last night.

We did not get back until after midnight last night, because of freeway repairs, and I am too tired to even think about that much driving. Also, getting to Anaheim during rush hour is not fun.

The final game of the 2002 ALCS was unbearable. Eleven years later I still have nightmares. Between Adam Kennedy's twelve home runs in one game and that feces throwing monkey, the trauma has lingered.

Were you in a road gray Twins jersey last night, Glorm?

No, my son and I were both wearing the Twins blue t-shirts with red letters. We were in the first row next to the Twins dugout.

I wish there was a way to Double Like Your post. Consider this response a manual "Double Like".

Damn, the Twins. Literally.

And Arcia was pulled from his game, so presumably on the way to Anaheim while Joe is away.

I refuse to "like" this, because how can I- the flashbacks still linger- but I completely agree. An ugly, ugly end to a really fun season.

It sounded like Gardy really wanted him up here. I've liked how adamant Gardy has been about Arcia.

Joe will never make it back in time with the two hours difference.

If it 9:08 Pacific Time... That means the babies were born on Sunday.

Damn Pacific time games. I'm tired.

Sure, you just come back from a huge Vegas debauch and you blame the Twins being on the West Coast. Sorry, not biting on that.

heh ... what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. So now it's like I was never there, therefore can complain about west coast games. :)

You never did tell "the joke" after your flight yesterday.

You know... I just flew in from Vegas... And boy are my arms tired!

That's because I usually tell jokes that are actually funny!

That's debatable.

FTFY, with an assist to Ashbury.
