That's the difference between 6 and 7 innings. This is what happens when you play musical chairs with defensive positions. You have to live with the learning curve. Too bad we don't have a guy who can play CF in St. Paul.
TMarty Verified Member Posted July 11 Posted July 11 A more than capable player for CF/SS sitting on the bench and we see that type of play from someone who has 5-6 games at the position, in turn adding to the pitch count. Somewhat frustrating.

No disrespect to him at all, as I genuinely like the man. However, some of the overt embellishment he used to praise the front office and the organization made me cringe. If I am not mistaken, he is still connected to the organization as an advisor.....or whatever. He probably gets perks or even a stipend. Sjoski 1

I can understand a person like Clemens, but Buxton's injuries have created openings....and most importantly...Lewis. Keashal, and Lee have caused issues of trying them at different positions during season. HarmonK03 1

This is the part that still frustrates me, Lewis, Keaschall and Lee were performing where they were expected to perform and hadn't regressed since the beginning of the season. So either the moves should have been made in spring training or next off season. This is on the organization for poor planning as much as the players. And they have basically replaced Lee with someone who is grades below him defensively, so where is the upgrade.

Yeah, even with Gray getting that hit, I don't like where I see the platoon situation going here. Kreidler makes up for the platoon disadvantage with his D. HarmonK03 and Church of Kreidler 2
