They must not have much faith in Sabato being a first-round pick. I get that first base is the least scouted position and the easiest to learn, but for the Twins, it's been a major problem for years. A lot of teams have power-hitting first basemen for a reason.

I didn't read all the comments before this, but Lewis is making a start at 2B today for the Saints.  A report yesterday was that he was taking grounders at both 1st and 2nd.  There has been speculation that, when Lewis comes back, he will play on that side of the infield and potentially only be filling in at 3rd base.  This idea would also suggest that it is actually Keaschall who would move to 1st and potentially be platooned out with Bell or Clemens provided they are still on the team when Lewis comes back.

SWR was 7-4 last year-twins gave up on him to early! Let’s hope he clears waivers and twins bring him back!!!

He went on waivers on Saturday. Isn't it 48 hours? It's been like 96.

Twins runs this year looks middle of the road.  But they keep making very average pitchers look like Cy Young candidates.

He was DFA'ed on Saturday.  The DFA period lasts a week.  A FO can begin the 48-hour waiver period anytime in those first 5 days - this allows them to try to work out a trade first.  So... we should know something by Saturday morning, or we might know sooner, that's as much as we can be certain of.

Kody Clemens leads the team in home runs as a first baseman with 4. Usually a power position, but not for the Twins. First base is a MAJOR problem. I hope that Royce or whoever can turn that around.

It makes all the sense in the world -  It dont matter what Royce likes , its a Team game and he should embrace it ,   Hope he does , until then its why change what  never works TWINS  WAY !!     Why dont they care about what the fans want ??    never have its all Pohlad !!!!!!!!!!!!!
