I mean, we can all admit that the chance of this being a World Series team is… minute. So I’m just having a blast seeing how we are cobbling together wins with players that by all rights shouldn’t be! I’ve had a lot of fun just going into each game with an attitude of “we could actually do this!”

Exactly.  I believe at the beginning of the season, the high estimation would have been around .500.  Kind of how they are playing now.  As of the moment, .500 gets you a playoff spot.  I don't expect that to continue, but it's fun to watch them play meaningful games that they don't seem to ever be out of.

I know there have been and will be some rough spots but these Twins are a scrappy bunch and so much more fun to watch.

I don't disagree. What makes for the difference beyond Rocco < Shelton?

Welp, the lead's turned over to our bullpen.  I foresee smooth sailing the rest of the way.

That'll complete a three hour tour. A three hour tour

Austin Martin's tiptoe approach to scoring a run differs slightly from Contreras last night.

I know they don't do this anymore either.  If it had been a blowout one way or the other, I would have liked to see Contreras take one in the pocket.

As I remember that tour didn't turn out so well for them.

Laughs and coconuts abounded. For those who couldn't appreciate Stalag 13.

Don't know. These things are impossible for us to know. I'll ask someone in the dugout at the All Star break but intangibles are difficult to quantify. A few of the players are just playing like they enjoy their jobs more than some of the guys who were here before. Who knows?
