I remember back in the 70’s whenever we would make the trip up north to see the Twins play, we would always bring back Schmidt beer….with the big mouth bottles and fishing and hunting scenes on the label! Cheap beer and for college kids, cheap was great!

Schmidt was SO common at keggers, I rarely bought it in bottles.

OH yes; until its main contributor died and it went out of print,  I read the magazine, All About Beer regularly, and there opinions of some beers youts back then trashed were not as bad as those of pissed up college dudes.😆

I never got there, but my one Grandfather did and he said,  the beer they served at Brewery tours was the best beer he ever had.

I had a friend that worked at the Cold Spring brewery so I drank a lot of Cold Spring Select beer. It was darn good until it got to be about a month old, then for some reason it turned slightly skunky smelling.  Born on date is a real thing in beer consumption.

Keaschall is going to find himself in St. Paul if this continues much longer. Good grief.

Or he could change is last name to Gordon.
