As I said before, I'm not sure what we really know about this defense given who they've played since the season was over.

What's your thought process here? The Vikings defense was really good last year and really good this year. So do you think we can't know how they'll look next year? It's not like they were a bottom half defense before this winning steak, they were top 10 in most categories all season, including DVOA and other avenged stats. And the teams they beat had good offenses and needed to win.

They played Caleb Williams twice last year and several backups. Maybe that's the way the NFL is, but I'm not sure we know what they are. Yes, they're top ten or so, but people are posting on other sites that they are awesome, and I have doubts. Especially next year.

I thought the Dallas and Detroit games were really impressive.  You're right that in the back half of the schedule they've faced a lot of teams that have given up (Packers, Commies, Giants) and then others where they were less impressive like Chicago, Green Bay.

So I have some skepticism, but here's what I do see: the pass rush is playing well.  They seem to have cleaned up the run defense issues from early in the season.

Fair enough. But other teams played crappy qbs as well. Can only go what your against.

Does GB have a starter in on offense at this point?

Is golden a starter? He's playing. I think a few of their linemen but I'm not sure.

Thanks. Not watching as we are such with Dallas and the Giants here, and couldn't justify a bar for this game...

Which is why I said maybe that's just the NFL now. To be clear, I think they are very good. I'm not sure they can carry the team.

McCarthy's day is done? Mr Glass can't even finish a game.

What? Is he hurt? Are they protecting a guy that desperately needs reps?

Evidently pulled himself from the game because of the hand again.

The only hope is that he's still 22 and his body grows into what Torii Hunter called "man muscles". He needs to stay healthy.

Maybe the pain killers wore off? He wasn't hit.

Yep. If it was that bad he shouldn't have played in the first place. A real sour end to the season for him. There's no way we can count on him to start 17 games next season.
