Epic collapse the last two weeks by the Rams.

Worrying. They were my nfc favorite. Needed them to knock out the niners so I could win my bet 😂

This is the coping mechanism I read over and over again. Why is that the right thing? This season has proven it was not the right thing. We used the savings on 2 DTs that weren’t any better than what we had on roster. Darnold is in a position to once again finish a 1 seed in the final week of the season. Top 5 in passing yards and passing TDs. McCarthy can’t even stay on the field…

I am firmly in "choose the young QB" path.  I don't believe Darnold is the guy.  What happens with JJ doesn't change that belief for me.

I fully admit I'm just exhausted with half measures.

Puka looked to have made a crazy catch which would have put the rams in fg range. He had both feet in but lost total control of the ball. He regained it but he was OOB

Is it a half measure if Darnold is a borderline top 10 QB like he’s shown the last 2 years? That just shows me they made a dumb mistake

Yeah puka “caught” it near the sideline, kept both feet in while falling out, and the ball never touched the ground when he went down. On one replay though you could see for a fraction of a second the ball wasn’t totally secure as he was falling. Thems the rules but hard to say he didn’t catch it imo.

We'll see what happens in the playoffs.  I still see the huge problems he has from time to time that makes me mistrust him.

Those kinds of mistakes were all over the field against Carolina.

As good as Seattle has looked, I'd still guess both the Eagles and Bears would prefer them over the Rams in the 1st round. Since I want both the Bears and Eagles to lose, I endorse this mini slump by the Rams so they can knock one of those teams out early.

And yes, that does mean I presume SF will beat Seattle at home to win the #1 seed.

That guy has to have mental health issues. Diggs' attorney is attempting to seal the details and Diggs already attempted to keep the victim quite by paying her/him off. That sounds like it's probably going to be way worse than what we're hearing at surface level. Which is already terrible.

Some of these pro athletes can’t get out of their own way. You have everything, why strangle someone?

I would guess there are some traits like completeness, impulsiveness, aggressiveness and anger at perceived slights that work well towards striving to be a good athlete but don't work well toward being a good human if you can't turn them off when you leave the field.

I'd think 95% of these guys do turn that off, but the ones who don't are probably dangerous people.

Apparently diggs assaulted his personal chef. Reminds me of this video

Wow, I missed that one! It was jokey but also uncomfortable and obviously very telling.

Also, what happened with that pink cocaine video with Diggs from this preseason? Kind of forgot about that, and seems like everyone else did too. Did the league just decide to sweep that one under the rug?

Here's the ESPN article on Trevon Diggs. Sounds like he and the team weren't getting along, the team didn't activate him in time for the Vikings game and then denied his request to stay in DC after the Washington game, he stayed anyway.

That the Cowboys don't like him isn't a huge red flag for me and I don't think he's had the off-the-field stuff that his brother has had. I'd be curious on how Flores/KOC view him. My guess is that he'll have to sign a one-year make good deal next year. He's had a lot of injuries the last three seasons - only starting 18 games in that span. But he's still young.
