I’m still disgusted. Was ready to accept a loss. But not like that

90% of this loss is on McCarthy. He just has to play better. Simple as that. We were 3-11 on third down. Minus-2 in the turnover battle.

On the plus side, the defense looked good and Redmond was really good - I thought he got held a lot. The o-line didn't give up a sack and the rushing game was strong.

Yeah, that's why this was a must win. Realistically, we needed to win today to have a playoff shot. We essentially can only lose one more game to get in. But if we don't make it, I'll root for Darnold over the Rams, Eagles, and Lions everyday of the week.

I'd give 5% more to KOC for not running on 2nd and 2 and 3rd and 2 when JJ was scuffling and the D was tired.....but, ya, McCarthy needs to get SO MUCH better to even see average, let alone elite. Good luck with that.

McCarthy needs to show significant strides over the next 7 games, and I don't know if he has it in him. If he continues to look like this, how could we possibly head into 2026 thinking he's our starting QB again?

 can't if he doesn't make huge strides. Like I said, he's not even close to mediocre yet
