Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 I wokld have preferred they hadn’t scored if they were going to lose like that gunnarthor 1

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 UGH ****ing special teams has hurt all season long
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 I really wanted to see them run the ball there at the end. But if you don’t cover the kick I guess it didn’t matter gunnarthor 1
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 On the plus side, I saw most of a scorigami!
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 I’m still disgusted. Was ready to accept a loss. But not like that
gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 90% of this loss is on McCarthy. He just has to play better. Simple as that. We were 3-11 on third down. Minus-2 in the turnover battle. On the plus side, the defense looked good and Redmond was really good - I thought he got held a lot. The o-line didn't give up a sack and the rushing game was strong. They found their next great return man in Price, too bad the coverage units constantly make penalties on his returns. A new ST coach is needed.

Realistically, we needed to win today to have a playoff shot. We essentially can only lose one more game to get in. But if we don't make it, I'll root for Darnold over the Rams, Eagles, and Lions everyday of the week. Aggies7 1

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted November 16, 2025 Posted November 16, 2025 Shedeur Sanders enters the game for Cleveland 😮 apparently Gabriel was injured gunnarthor 1

I'd give 5% more to KOC for not running on 2nd and 2 and 3rd and 2 when JJ was scuffling and the D was tired.....but, ya, McCarthy needs to get SO MUCH better to even see average, let alone elite. Good luck with that. Vanimal46 and RpR 2

Good luck with that. McCarthy needs to show significant strides over the next 7 games, and I don't know if he has it in him. If he continues to look like this, how could we possibly head into 2026 thinking he's our starting QB again? Danchat 1
