Think: Dodgers in 5.  The pitching is just too dominant (the lineup's not too bad either), but I think the Jays find a way to get one with the firepower they have in the lineup.

Want: Blue Jays in 7.  Like any red-blooded American I'm cheering for the Canadian underdog, and game sevens rock.  Plus, I'll be in Chicago for the Ireland-New Zealand rugby match the day of Game 7 (my brother lives there and my dad, uncle, and cousin all played rugby, so it's turned into a nice little family weekend) and a World Series game 7 would serve as a nice nightcap.  Coulda really gotten interesting if the Cubs had gone on a run, but oh well

Let's get this game 1 out of the way with Snell pitching  , if Toronto can capitalize against his arsenal tonight it would help ,  Toronto has home field advantage  ...

Im also rooting for Toronto  , remember in 1990 when Oakland was favorite to win over Cincinnati reds , HOW SWEET that was  , Cincinnati swept them in 4 , I dont really care for sweeps , I prefer  competitive 6 or 7 games  ...

But that was a nice sweep back in 1990 that no one saw coming ......

So much for lead off homeruns , there was an article that was expecting a leadoff homerun by either team to start this world series  , hope they didn't bet the farm  ...

I think it will be a Dodgers sweep. My rooting interests have been focused around who can give the Dodgers an interesting series throughout the playoffs. I was hoping the Cubs over the Brewers because as we saw the Brewers had no chance. I was hoping the Mariners over Blue Jays because they have the better pitching.

I assume Bo Bichette was removed from the game because he was complaining to the media about being played out of position at 2B.

Wow not many posts for the series, I guess I’m not the only one who has lost interest. But had to pop in and laugh that they ruled the freeman dropped pop up a hit. That’s an error in high school ball but not the world series lol

Why was there just a Jonas brothers halftime show at the World Series 😂 don’t say it’s for cancer awareness I know it was. But why was there a halftime show? Is this new
