Here is a stat. that could be checked at the end of the season. My belief is that the Twins will be setting a team record for the number of players who have thrown a pitch.

No, other than he didn’t get what the plan was at the trade deadline and him and the remaining veterans will try to rebuild the clubhouse culture (paraphrasing). Believe a couple of guys were sent packing for speaking out and saying less.

I think to keep the fans (and the wins) coming it's imperative they both stay.

I think your second idea is closer to the truth.  I usually like players weekend with all the creative combinations.  But with an entire Peanuts' cartoon worth of dark clouds over the team, I really don't care as much about it.  Poor Snoopy would run out of paper writing "It was a dark and stormy night." over and over again.

I used to like the one or two nicknames per team that were creative

The bats are harmless I guess.  More fodder for game thread pun material, if nothing else

The hat numbers are pointless and dumb on several levels
