Attendance looks pretty dreary tonight at TF. I’d guess no more than low 20k

Think the weather might interrupt the game in a few hours too.

More storms on the way tonight… What time they start is up in the air. It’s very humid - I need to take a shower after walking my dog

No IL for Buck, just going to keep playing short handed, every year, year after year.

What can you do? He's their best position player and it would appear he should be back in a day or two. Sitting Buxton an for the full 10-day IL stint when he's supposed to be back after 3-4 days would be a mistake. I know that injuries have lingered with Buxton in the past, but if their best information is that he'll be in the lineup tomorrow or Wednesday, it is the right call to play short for a couple of days.

Buck still has soreness in his side.

He barely made contact with the padded wall…but, when the Twins e-mailed the MRI results to the Yankees…they said sit him.

Just gonna leave this here and see how many figure it out. Got it from my daughter. I'm so proud of her!

No spoilers please. A simple "got it" will suffice.

I'm guessing he won't play until the deadline (unless he's traded and plays for the new team). Just a guess. I wonder if that makes Columbe unusable also?

I see nothing about Bader on the injury report. He has been striking out a lot lately, but has been getting his hits.

My point was I think he's getting traded. But I'm wrong. I think Rocco is going full leftie.

It's a pattern with multiple players with this FO. Let's hope they are right this time.

Over.

So you think Kiersey is playing tonight by Rocco’s choice? I think you were correct before… Sitting so he doesn’t get hurt before he’s traded (very soon)

I hope that's why! For reasons.... I'm trying to be nice!

Yeah, he's a marked man, but I really doubt they would sit him three consecutive days.
