Interestingly enough, that is exactly how the Twins obtained three of the four players you previously mentioned and kept the other.

I heard Bader is being traded from Vampire Weekend to Cage the Elephant. And a lefty AA guy throwing 94.

Bader has always been one of the best defensive outfielders in the game. He hits a little, has a little power and can steal bases. He will save up to a run a game when he plays and rarely makes mistakes. However, he is not a regular player and never has been. Unless we are committed to playing him and signing him for a couple more years, trading him makes sense. If the Dodgers want him, they should give us a pitcher that will help us now and next year or two- not some low A suspect.

The Dodgers have 7 RHP with a 45 FV.  That would seem like as much as we are going to get for Bader.  Seems like a good fit.

If the Twins trade for Dalton Rushing, they could include Christian Vasquez in the package.  That gives the Dodgers a veteran back-up to.cover for the loss of Rushing.  Rushing hasn’t hit much, so it’s arguably an improvement for this season.   Vasquez is actually approaching the Mendoza line.   NO, that’s going too far.
