Of course...two starting pitchers with ERAs north of 5.0...surprised there was not more runs...Twins had better pad their lead. Patzky 1
HarmonK03 Verified Member Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Your top 3 relievers are probably unavailable and yet they are in a rush to SWR because they won't let him face a lineup a third time. Take the training wheels off, he has been here a year and a half, it is time. This is where the quick hook hurts, it's the next game or games that are impacted more than the current game. Patzky Old-Timey Member Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Wow. If he isn't ripe for the picking now he never will be. Cmon Matt Damn you won't get more meatball than that.
Randy Griffith Verified Member Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 Yea for the "disengagement violation"!

Thought he had Buxton rung up. Missed on ball 4 and went 2-1 on Larnach. Unless 4 pitches is adequate to see warning signs. I think he was more rattled by the throwing error. But then again. Just my opinion. Parfigliano and Patzky 2
Jham Verified Member Posted June 26, 2025 Posted June 26, 2025 I remember thinking AK and Larnach were duplicative and that one should be traded. AK's all-field unicorn swing probably contributed to his wrist issues. Catching the ball out front just "hurts" less and is a much more reliable path to success. It feels like we should have known and traded AK. Now what to do with Royce and Jenkins... Big time gambles to trade OR keep. Being a GM is hard.

The problem is though under Rocco ball we are going to need at least 4 relievers. So who will get the save opportunity Sands or Coulombe. I have to believe Duran, Jax and Varland are out. This is why Ryan should have come out for the 7th inning last night, then you would have Varland available tonight. Parfigliano 1
