Somewhere along the line, we need to figure out how to get some hits with the bases jacked, instead of HBP's or walks. It's incredible how ineffective we are with them loaded.

Paddack is 2-2 in the last five starts.  33IP, 5 ER.  Run support while he has been in the game:  3, 4, 1, 0, and 0.  This is likely the best chance for him getting any run support this game.

Thank you

I smoked a pork butt earlier this week.  Apple wood.  Delicious.

Do you notice the different woods flavors that much?  I've never bothered to switch pellets, just all purpose all the time. Worth it?

So let’s see if I got this straight:
1.  Gausman yells at the umpire on pictures that are clearly balls.  Doesn’t usually help the pitcher

2.  Toronto manager comes out and it’s clearly arguing with the ump about balls and strikes… Isn’t that  an automatic ejection?

3. Gausman hits France, walks Royce and when Clemens is up he gives them a first pitch fastball 10 inches off the outside of the plate for  a first strike?  Changed that entire at bat.

Combined with last night effort, the umps behind the plate are screwing us.

A quick Bader Bong would fix a lot of things

That's pretty close.

Don't know about using pellets because I use chips.  Very noticeable difference in flavor with different woods.  Definitely give it a try you won't be sorry.

They aren't helping

Four pitch at-bat for Jeffers:  watched two called strikes and swung at two balls of the plate.  Aren't catchers supposed to know the strike zone, especially after half a game?

This ump doesn't know the strike zone.
