Fundy responsible for 5 of the Rays 14 runs this series. 🤢🤮

Well, you can argue Larnach was responsible for 4 of the 5.

Larnach with the assists. Doesn’t matter all that much because a 2 run per game average isn’t going to cut it.

Funderburk gets a bit too much hate. He's not good, but the Twins aren't treating him like he is. He's an optionable arm bouncing up and down before he's inevitably DFAd. Every bullpen needs people like him.

Well...that was putrid.

To put it very kindly.

The only good thing that happened was McCusker getting his 1st MLB hit.  Good for him.  Otherwise, a big nothing burger.

That kind of game is going to make the cross-country flight to Seattle seem even longer than it already is.

Tough loss to swallow with Lopez on the mound  ...

Now an off day to make the misery that much worse ...

time for some offensive help , wallner would be nice , buxton if healthy ...

Problem is that we need a whole lot more offensive help than Wallner and Buxton.

After a third of the season, I can safely conclude that this team will only go as far as its pitching will carry it.  This offensive just isn't good enough to win very many games on its own.

They remind me a lot of Seattle last year. Top five pitching staff, but couldn’t score enough runs and missed the playoffs.  This year Seattle the offense has been more competent and they are leading their division.

Twins bats went cold again and again.   All hits were singles.   That's unacceptable.   Twins hitting coach need to be fired.   Lately, Twins' hitting are very awful.

K. Funkerburk needs to be sent down to St. Paul.   His ERA is 9.00.    No reason for not sending him back to St. Paul.

Lewis started his decline last year. First he complained too much about the position the Twins were asking him to play. Then the inevitable injuries. Then the bat went ice cold. This season, injury again. Followed by an even colder bat. Barely hitting over .100 and 1 for his last 26. He doesn't belong in the lineup. He is adding nothing. Turning out not to be super star everyone thought. Needs more time in AAA, and perhaps one more shot at a big league stay. Doesn't look very optimistic though. He has totally lost it.

He’s been slumping for almost a 1/2 season going back to his “slump thing” comment.

Royce has some clown show vibes but I think his issues now are because of injuries and mechanics. Not sure how he gets right this season.

Agree. I think him getting right begins with a low pressure extended “rehab” stint in St. Paul. Nothing good is happening with him up with the big club. And I fear the longer it goes on the worse it’s going to get.

I wonder just HOW bad the Twins would have to be , before Morneau  stops ignoring how bad they can be.

He wants to keep his job ...

I like Anthony laplanta in the both , keep him and find another replacement like Perkins or Trevor plouffe for morneau  ...

I tend to stream the opposing team broadcasting...
