Nix's tools are better than I thought, but his stats get fluffed up by short passes. He has one of the lowest average depth of targets in the league. And even like today's game, people will point to him having a 100+ passer rating and nearly 50 yards rushing... and they've scored 7 points midway through the 4th quarter. He needs better weapons, but I wonder about his ceiling.

I agree.  As much as I dislike Payton, you can't dismiss his chops as an offensive mind.  He's gift wrapped Nix a safe, easy road into the NFL.  Nix doesn't need to apologize for that, but I question how far that takes you if he's not capable of more.

It's not like the Bills have an all-world defense and it looked easy out there for them.

My observations:

* I think Love is hurt.  And that's not the silver lining Packer fans should think it is: the guy is starting to show some real durability issues.

* Jacobs is legit.

* The Eagles passing game is NOT legit.  We have a shot to beat that team simply because I don't fear their passing attack.  Make no mistake - their front is ridiculous.  Davis and Carter are a bad matchup for us.  Their CBs with Slay, Dejean, and Mitchell are also a real problem.  If it was a 6-3 game it wouldn't shock me.

* Buffalo is going to win the Super Bowl.  (At least I hope they do if we don't)

* I love Baker Mayfield, but he'll never quite elevate his team to a SB I think.

* Jayden Daniels.....he feels like he will.  The Commanders have no business being in this position given their new coach, massive roster shake-up, and a rookie QB.  Heckuva season.

Same, I am hearing from many corners that Philly is very beatable. Vikings are 0-4 lifetime in postseason against them.

As far as tonight, I think this game could go any direction. Vikings could come out firing and put the game away early, or could come out flat with the Darnold we saw last week. Neither scenario would surprise me.

The Vikings have a better chance of beating Philly than the lions on a neutral field. But I still have ptsd from that 2018 NFCCG. Harder environment to play in IMO

Of course it’s all irrelevant without a win tonight

My gut tells me the team will have a sharp reaction to last week's god awful game in how they play tonight:

They'll be pissed off and put it altogether and show what they are capable of.  Win with authority.

or

It was such a blow to their confidence that we end this great season on a whimper and they look like a hot mess again.

Based on this team's historical trends, this season looks to be in line with the team's typical 7-8 year trend of NFC title game appearances.

Where they'll either lose heartbreakingly or get blown out embarrassingly.

Really seems like we’re heading towards Bills Chiefs for the umpteenth time. Ravens and chiefs would be fun, ravens don’t bother me as a team.

I want to believe that the rams could beat the eagles but I get a strong “they shot their ****” vibe from LA. But I’ll be pulling for them hard. Washington is a little scary but in no way do I think they’re better than the lions. I would love to see Detroit lose, their fans have gotten very obnoxious very quickly.

Yeah, I think it's gonna be the top four and a KC/Detroit super bowl. Yuck.

I know you won't like it but Lions/Philly will be a pretty good championship game.

The Eagles are better used to the cold, but I think conventional wisdom about snowstorm games being fought in the trenches is out dated.

The players with the biggest disadvantage in poor footing games, are the defensive backs who have to run backwards while the route runners run forwards. The better passing team may have the advantage. Which would be the Rams.

Looking more like a wintry mix now. Could still get 4” there. And it starts too early to move the game up. I don’t know if I love playoff games happening in unreasonably poor weather but I guess we’ll find out

Wow right out of the gate, action. Big missed chance by Houston. Already half the distance to the goal for KC 😑

Former Viking Kris Boyd with the penalty for taking his helmet off 😂

Then shoves his coach with both hands?

I'm thinking he might not make it back on the field.

He's out there for the kick
