....is having a fantastic season, including a 21 game hit streak. Good for him, he was always a player I enjoyed on the Twins and appreciated how he approached his craft.

Let's hope he keeps up all the success he's having.

was looking him up earlier today. He is having a typical Coors Field type production w/ 1.089 OPS, but still productive on road with .864OPS.

His big jump has been vs RHP as he's having a career year that way w/.935 OPS as well as 1.052 vs LHP (which he's always crushed)

I guess somebody finally got to Cuddy about laying off that low and outside 2-strike slider....

One of my favorite players all time and I'm enjoying his season on my fantasy team.

He's always been a very good fastball hitter and off speed pitches move less in the dry, high altitude air so this success shouldn't be a complete suprise. Now if he can just stay off of the DL.

My all-time favorite Twin. I hope he nets another All-Star game for his production this year. He is third in batting and third in OPS in the NL. Obviously, he can't keep hitting .339, but this could turn out to be a career year for him.

He certainly should. I had no problem voting for him.

A career year at age 34? Yes, it sure looks like it's going that way. And I don't care that the mountain air is helping.

Good for Michael!

Good for Cuddy. I was worried last year's injury issues would be the beginning of the end for him, glad he's bouncing back in a big way.

Cuddyer now has a club record 24-game hitting streak. He is hitting .351 (second in the NL) and has a .999 OPS, also second in the NL. Despite injuries that cost him 20 games, it looks like he has earned an All-Star berth at 34 years of age. I will keep cheering for this guy until he retires and I hope he makes it back to the Twins organization after that.

It is not happening. He has zero ties with the Twin Cities community and plenty of ties with his VA community.

Doug Mientkiewicz and Tom Brunansky would probably say it's a possibility.

Always enjoyed watching Mikey Baseball play the game and it'd be great to have him back some day.

Thanks for the update. I hadn't checked on him for awhile and seems like every time I go to watch a game with the Rockies it is blacked out.

Glad for Cuddyer -- one of the few former Twins I still have on my Twitter feed.

He spent most of his adult life in the Twins organization; it's safe to say he has some ties here.

Sad to see the hitting streak end last night. Since Cuddyer isn't much of a contact hitter, this was quite the stretch of game for him. It was fun to follow while it lasted.

Now he can start a new streak.
