The Great Hambino Verified Member Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Now that the matchup is set, who are y'all pulling for (other than the meteor, obvi)? I'm telling myself that I'm rooting for Ohtani and Betts, not the Dodgers. But I'm rooting for the Dodgers. Offensively, both led their leagues in homers, walks, and OPS (could've included runs too if not for those pesky D-Backs) Both pitchings staffs have middling-to-good (not great) league rankings in run prevention and baserunner prevention Gonna be a lot of runs scored this series
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 The Dodgers and it’s not close. I want Ohtani to complete his magical season with a WS ring.

This. Plus I love Betts willingness to pay anywhere they need him, even though he's a superstar. Longdistancetwins and Vanimal46 2

Schmoeman5 Verified Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Dodgers are going to walk it off
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 This has been a pretty awesome game 1 Schmoeman5 1
Schmoeman5 Verified Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Why did Rizzo stop? It would have been close.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Hey Nestor, we know you haven't pitched in a month. Go ahead and try to get Ohtani out, thanks.
Schmoeman5 Verified Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I wonder if Rocco would have ph Margot there for Ohtani David HK and Vanimal46 2
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Hell of a catch by Verdugo there
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 FREDDIE FREEMAN walk off HR!!
Schmoeman5 Verified Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 He got Ohtani. But not Freddie
Schmoeman5 Verified Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 After that I sure hope it goes 7
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 I’m sorry but how the hell do you pitch a guy who hasn’t thrown in a game in 37 days? A starter? In that spot? Idiotic Vanimal46 and lecroy24fan 2

Schmoeman5 Verified Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 Intentionally walk Soto to face Judge worked. Intentionally walk Betts to get lefty lefty match-up didnt
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 26, 2024 Posted October 26, 2024 No rooting interest either way, so that was entertaining.
