I agree with your disappointment......I don't see how having him hit or play D is good for this team at all.

Perhaps his teammates should be concerned about their own performance because the offense has stunk for a month.

True-the offense has been horrendous. When an entire team goes into a funk, someone has to provide a spark. Was never going to be Margot. 

His offense has stunk the entire year...he took 300 ABs from others. When the season comes down to less than 5 games, these things count. 

I have no idea how people are defending him...or Rocco for playing him...or the FO for not cutting bait. Beyond me.

He did not stink as badly as Julien or Lee and they are still here, get over it.

I get the frustration but I asked a simple question and you couldn’t answer it. And that’s the whole point. The offense has stunk so Margot isn’t taking away playing time from anyone who deserves it.

Tonight’s game is pretty much a must win since we have Ober on the mound. I would recommend to all the cheerful people posting on this site to enjoy the game. There may only be six more before winter.

Well the difference is Julien and Lee are young and getting better (or at least deserve a chance for the opportunities). Margot is old and on his way down.

If you read my prior post my main point was he has taken 329 plate appearances away from others this year. 

This is far bigger than today. 

But if you really want me to answer your question, I would say Wallner, Larnach, Keirsey, Keaschall, or Erod.

Ober gets 2 more starts and Pablo gets 1 more. If they don't win all 3 of those, you can kiss the season goodbye. Even if that DOES happen, they still need to win at least 1 more, if not 2 more. I don't think 4-2 is gonna cut it. They need to go 5-1...and the way they've been playing...that's damn near impossible. Please, please, PLEASE surprise us and do the impossible!
