In the past 4-5 years, they have learned a lot more about what they can do medically with hip injuries. Bo Jackson's injury nowadays probably wouldn't be as serious.

This is good to know. On one side it makes sense to keep him if he can be healthy, and on the other, it can be used as a way to leverage more in a trade. Teams would definitely want someone with potential, and can be medically cleared to play.

You didn't see it cuz you weren't at that CR game and I was. Byron was actually eating a hot dog and sippin' on a coke out in CF right as that lazer was hit. He proceeded to very carefully put both down in the grass before sprinting, then flying, then extending, then grabbing, and finally landing.......now get this, with ball in glove, the dog, well, gone and gingerly returning to his coke in shallow centerfield.
