  1. This is good to know. On one side it makes sense to keep him if he can be healthy, and on the other, it can be used as a way to leverage more in a trade. Teams would definitely want someone with potential, and can be medically cleared to play.
  2. I am just not a fan of the way he runs, swings and plays. Nobody can swing as hard as him or run as fast as him without getting hurt at some point. My biggest fear is he runs too fast to left or right field and runs into another outfielder and falls on his hip like Bo Jackson did, essentially ending his career.
  3. He reminds me a lot of a Pedro Martinez/Brian Bass hybrid type pitcher with his style and career development.
  4. Well I like Plouffe and Dozier to be on this team, and I think Willingham is a great hitting tutor for both of them to learn from. Personally, I would like to see Willingham retire a Twin and potentially take over manager. So I guess when I say long haul I mean part player part coach. Where I just see Buxton as a flash in the pan and nothing special. Kind of like the JD Durbin of hitters. SO I say trade him while he is hot.
  5. I think Willingham would be good to keep, but mainly because I see him here for the long haul and see Buxton as the potential trade piece this deadline. A great way for us to compete right now and still have Sano.
  6. I understand where you are coming from, but I just get the feeling Buxton will be injury prone, so I would rather have an injury prone pitcher than Outfielder right now. With Arcia, Kershaw, yeah thats dreaming a bit I admit. I don't know who you could trade Arcia for, maybe James SHields.
  7. Look, I like these guys, but lets be honest, we need pitching. If we could trade Buxton to the Nationals for Steven Strasburg and Arcia to the Dodgers for Kershaw we could have a serious team RIGHT NOW. I know it seems crazy, but I like the magic touch Terry Ryan has with trades. So if we can swing this come dead line, who agrees with me??
