That was the biggest jump I've seen in a very long time...and of course Gausman turns and throws to 2nd. If he throws the pitch,  Larnach goes into 2nd standing up.

He went off to the side to avoid the tag, and he mighta had a better chance going straight to the bag to beat the throw?
