Carlos Correa

They have just been dribbling updates on this guy. They were going to have him sprint next and if that went well, possibly progress to going on a rehab. But am I imagining this or was the sprinting supposed to be a couple days ago? If so, no updates on how it went. 

Maybe I'm just missing something.

He's got to wait out the plantar fasciitis. The report would be. Every day 'still can't run too good.'

It takes years to get over plantar fasciitis.  I know because I had it.  If they really want to get rid of it, he needs to take an entire year off to be bluntly honest.

Yeah, it certainly is frustrating for us fans not knowing when he will be able to return full-time, But it's most likely even more frustrating for Correa. All we can do is be patient, but I do agree that some sort of update would be appreciated.

Kudos to Betsy Helfand of the PioneerPress for providing an update yesterday. The update is that there is no update.

Paparesta said Correa stated that he felt better running on Tuesday than he had even a couple of days ago. Correa has not run the bases yet and is still reporting feeling discomfort in his right foot.

“As cliché as it sounds, it’s truly day to day on how he’s going to do and what we can do with him,” Paparesta said.

So basically he is not actually resting it, but trying to do baseball on it every day, or every other day.

I have no doubt he will be ready for the post-season, but give it some rest maybe.

I'm sure that his foot is in much worse pain than most of us can even imagine trying to walk on and he's trying to get himself ready to go. I don't doubt that Correa is considerably tougher than the average person and still he's a no go so this is probably pretty bad.
