The TV crew loves tradition.  Good.  So they should know the age old saying is “a guy makes a great play and bats first in the next inning.”  Not just bats anywhere in the inning. I heard Curt Gowdy and many others say it a million times.

I just recently purchased MLB TV to watch the Twins.  My impressions...

Prebus is average at best.  Hawkins is horrible. Smalley and Morneau have a great vibe that helps Prebus.

These guys are adequate.   For the Twins it’s been all downhill after Ray Scott in the 60s.    Best ex-jogk color guys, Jim , Jim Kaat and Jim Kaat. 
The current best sports announcer in Mn is Paul Allen for the Vikings.  
it happens so rarely that Minnesota gets one that stands out; Al Shaver with the North Stars and Kevin Harlan with the T-Wolves would be the top ones ever in these towns along with Ray Scott (since I started paying attention in 1961).

If you've got MLB.tv, watch some other teams games. A lot of homers and sports bros. Provus & company are very professional, well informed and add to the overall game experience... My opinion, for what it is worth 🙂
