Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 The bullpen is probably exhausted after last night. Let's hope that the Dude can go at least 6 inning. I'm a Dude believer.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Wow! I'm starting to believe in Hicks's defense.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Now we are starting to see that Hicks D that others were talking about.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Wow! I'm starting to believe in Hicks's defense. I hadn't been... But I recognize the path I'm on and it is leading to belief.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 OK, Hicks has been developing a trend of hitting a home run after making a great defensive play - let's see if that continues.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Wow we typed our posts at the same time. Both Bow oriented.
Gibby Provisional Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I might be inclined to believe in Hicks offense.
MichiganTwins Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I really like Hicks. Even though he has struggled this year a bit, I think he will be really good, but that might just be my optimism.
TheLeviathan Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Kid has a sweet stroke when he turns on a ball. You can really see the torque and power he generates.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I might be inclined to believe in Hicks offense. wouldn't it be great if we could get up to 60% approval/happiness of Hicks on TD. I say 60% because... Well 60% optimism would require 3 straight World Series wins.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Wow we typed our posts at the same time. Both Bow oriented. Knud... Maybe I should take a shot at writing your sermon this Sunday. You also write one and let's see how close we are.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Knud... Maybe I should take a shot at writing your sermon this Sunday. You also write one and let's see how close we are. I don't actually write sermons - my preaching is all extemporaneous. I do have an outline and I plan what I want to say, but then I just go with the flow.
snepp Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Someone ask RocketPig to implement a Meh button alongside the Like. Only if he gets our expanded smilie selection implemented first.

"Lessons from a tree climbing midget".
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I am going home now to catch the last few innings. A win tonight for Deduno will be beyond sweet.

LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Rather Magellan-esqe route by Hicks. The explorer, not the GPS.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Rather Magellan-esqe route by Hicks. The explorer, not the GPS. Yeah that was like Driving from Minneapolis to Duluth and going through Heyward Wisconsin and Brainerd and stopping at the Apolstle Islands.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Rather Magellan-esqe route by Hicks. The explorer, not the GPS. Yes, and like Magellan he didn't make it to the end.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Since when does Pedroia enter into this? Pedroia and Teen Wolf, separated at birth? http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qD7Rhb3s9O0/TheSNUoPdzI/AAAAAAAAAI4/Dgqlr09du8A/s320/teen-wolf3.jpg
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Yes, and like Magellan he didn't make it to the end.Check out the big brain on knud! You were the kid who stayed awake in 7th period history, weren't you? And in fairness to Hicks, he's having another of his good games tonight. There just doesn't seem to be any in between with the kid yet. 4 bad games then one where he looks like RoY or even All Star material.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Check out the big brain on knud! You were the kid who stayed awake in 7th period history, weren't you? Yep. I lived for it!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Check out the big brain on knud! You were the kid who stayed awake in 7th period history, weren't you? You have to be careful doing missionary work on Mactan Island.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Deduno... A white knuckle ride success story.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Didn't somebody tell Deduno that Twins pitchers are not allowed to pitch seven full innings?
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Didn't somebody tell Deduno that Twins pitchers are not allowed to pitch seven full innings? Yes, but Ramirez wasn't there to translate that day?
