Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 I am back and glad that wife could not read this post. The poor thing... There are some adult Reading classes in the LA area... I'm sure.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Hitting a lot of guys tends to tie into not pitching so many innings, though.Usually, although Detroit control wizard Fister (knock it off) led the majors with 11. Since he's hardly ever wild, I'm guessing he's just mean. Deduno's 5 wild pitches last year project to nearly double the 2012 league leaders' totals if he'd pitched 200+ innings. So he's versatile.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Parmelee is evidently Doug Mientkiewicz. Also I loved the split screen of Deduno celebrating and praying. He is my favorite Twins player by far and I don't even care if he implodes. God... you and me... Complete agreement. He's too interesting to watch.

ashbury Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 The poor thing... There are some adult Reading classes in the LA area... I'm sure. +1 sir. A double-like button is also needed. I'm not sure even Chief could top that one.

ashbury Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 It's really sweet that Ashburyjohn uses her as his avatar, though. Paging Chief once again for entendre-patrol, double or triple I'm not sure.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Someone should start a poll where we can vote on our favorite Twins player. Consider it started. Deduno
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 The poor thing... There are some adult Reading classes in the LA area... I'm sure. You are on fire tonight my friend.
big dog Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Paging Chief once again for entendre-patrol, double or triple I'm not sure. Just a minute, I've got to put my kids to bed before they try to read over my shoulder.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 control wizard Fister (knock it off) Giggity. Should we launch an all-dirty all-star team discussion? I'll nominate Dick Pole. / never mind, the favorite Twin survey takes precedence. I'll go with Rusty Kuntz.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Just a minute, I've got to put my kids to bed before they try to read over my shoulder. Don't want anyone in your house laffing before you get the jokes?
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Either a walk or a home run by Parm would be perfect here.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 You are on fire tonight my friend. No, in a good way, really!
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Paging Chief once again for entendre-patrol, double or triple I'm not sure. Yeah... where is Chief? It's only what... 1:30PM in Tucson...can't be past his bedtime.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Boy, that's two very, very nice defensive plays in a very tough spot. Nice job. Made better by the shot of Deduno practicing winning the Olympic gold medal after Parmelee's catch.Correction, that is WBC title.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 No, in a good way, really! Awesome... I'm well versed in the story of what happened to the drummer from Spinal Tap.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Either a walk or a home run by Parm would be perfect here. How do you feel about the strikeout?
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Yeah... where is Chief? It's only what... 1:30PM in Tucson...can't be past his bedtime. It's still Memorial Day there, he's riding on a float downtown.
big dog Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Correction, that is WBC title. You are correct, sir.
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Awesome... I'm well versed in the story of what happened to the drummer from Spinal Tap. But do you know what happened to Agnetha Faltskog?
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Florimon must feel left out. He is the only player who doesn't have exactly one hit tonight.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 You are correct, sir. A correct correction? I think that violates some TD policy, doesn't it?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 It's still Memorial Day there, he's riding on a float downtown. What? There is no water to float on in Tucson. hey... That accidentally rhymes.
glunn Community Moderator Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 How do you feel about the strikeout? Pretty disappointed, but if Deduno and the Twins get the win, it will be a great night.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Yeah... where is Chief? It's only what... 1:30PM in Tucson...can't be past his bedtime. But it's 1:30 tomorrow, so the game was over last night for him.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 What? There is no water to float on in Tucson. hey... That accidentally rhymes. What are the waters you float on in Tucson? Catchy, I'll try and find a Beatles tune that matches it.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Perk stretches his K lead. I understand Chief is enjoying the earlybird special at Denny's.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 A correct correction? I think that violates some TD policy, doesn't it?I'd apologize, but I'm pretty sure a heartfelt apology would also be a violation.
ashbury Verified Member Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 But it's 1:30 tomorrow, so the game was over last night for him. In that case I hope he has some tips to share on tomorrow night's game - I need to pay my sports book a visit anyway.
