I'll need someone to post the lineups today, as I'll be on the road and probably in a cell dead zone.

Can't you just post what you think the lineup should be, then email it to Gardy and tell him to plan accordingly?

Um, can you imagine Mauer and Votto back to back?????

Sorry, I was just imagining Votto on the Twins and had to step outside for a little air. What did you ask again?

This will cause him to go 0-4 and bobble two easy plays tonight, but I freely acknowledge that I gave up too early on Florimon. He's a better player than I thought he was. I don't think he's the best SS we could have for the next 5 years, certainly, but he's making the plays and I'm not looking at the lineup hoping to see Escobar at short like I was a few weeks ago.

Every other opinion I have is correct.

You could have probably used a better dose of fantasy in RF and saved the reality for another position.

While we are at it, forget realism, lets just scrap the lower third of that lineup. Tulo is still healthy, right?

Of course, you could go with the "if we'd have only kept 'em" lineup:

Punto .327 BA, .413/.404/.817 slash line

Hardy .250 BA .750 OPS, defending Gold Glove winner

Ortiz .336 BA .397/.603/1.000 slash line

Cuddy .333 BA .397/.615/1.012 slash line

Gomez .326 BA .369/.597/.966 slash line 10 homers and 10 steals

Hunter .312 BA .358/.427/.785 slash line

AJ .274 BA .311/.398/.710 slash line

Golden Calf .269 BA .323/.455/.778 slash line

Lexi .183 BA .435 OPS (somebody has to play second and make outs)

Liriano 3-1 2.30 ERA 28 K (more than any Twins starter) in only 23 innings.

Day game after night game lineup- someone must have misread the start time.

Gardy really in his wheelhouse now, 2nd baseman in the 2-hole for the 3rd straight day.... and 3rd catcher starting------------ 3 Catchers in the starting lineup?

Meanwhile the Brewers have all eight starters from last night and added a DH:

Aoki rf

Segura ss

Braun lf

Ramirez dh

Gomez cf

Lucroy c

Betancourt 1b

Weeks 2b

Bianchi 3b

Estrada p

You're safe tonight. Florimon isn't in the starting lineup.

What in the sam hill is wrong with Morneau?

Gardy mentioned in his postgame that Morneau had a nagging injury (back?) and that he wasn't sure if he could go after playing 14 innings.

How much better, no, more awesome, would that lineup be if they had just gone out and spent just a few million bucks by signing Mark Reynolds and James Loney?

What the hell? I thought the Dozier thing was just because of the NL lineup. This is just a mess. What is wrong with this manager?

I'll defend Gardy for today after the long game and the travel. He doesn't have all of his horses and I suppose he is going to give Herrmann one game before he goes back, why not after the long game?

May I suggest that you just PM your query to the USAFChief....? I think he has some insight on this topic....

Little tired. Mauer kept him up on the plane last night.

Was Joe going over in detail with Morny the qualitative differences in the various settings on his Quickswing batting tee? It seems that Morny has become quite the bloop-singles swinger since he became a Mauer acolyte.

Meanwhile, Baxendale in his AA debut two shutout innings thus far.

Yeah I am watching Gameday for NB, and listening to the Twins on the radio. If only there was someone to watch for in AAA tonight.... I guess I can watch Arcia's at bats.

Is Cola back in the lineup tonight? It would also be nice to see Delbi Romero can get it going.

Other than that, for me, it's just a check every 5 days for another Gibson shutout while he "struggles" to work on his consistency....
