A bit of a youth movement in store for us this evening.  Julien, Kirilloff, Wallner and Larnach all in the same lineup!

That's the plan for three days.....

Then Buxton is back and Larnach is down again.

I assume that this is what you're referring to?

Yes!

Should have pointed that out.

It looks like it broke in the last half hour or so.  I hadn't seen it yet.

We split 4 games with them last week...we need to take at least 2 of 3 this time. Larnach back for a short visit. Hopefully, he brought his bat with him, and Kenta keeps pitching well.

And also, congrats to the Buxton family on the new addition!  Hope all is well with mom and baby!

Yea for the youth movement.  Would like to see Jeffers catching.

While I too would like to see Jeffers catching 60-70% of the time I agree that a 12 inning game behind the plate plus a shot to the chin(bit his tongue) entitles him to a day off(maybe pinch hitting duties?)

Last time the Twins worked Luis pretty hard, do it again.

6 innings, 3 runs, 11 Ks. Idk if they worked him over all that hard.

I'd take the 3 runs if you offered them right now though

Storms/rain heading toward the metro. Might arrive by game time, if they hold together. Looks like there's a better chance tonight, than there was the other night.

At this time there are rain cells approaching TF. It looks like they'll be well clear of the area by game time. Of course, more can appear out of nowhere in conditions like we are experiencing today.

They'll have to keep an eye on this.  I can relate from personal experience that it can be a chronic condition that follows you the rest of your life.

Jeffers only caught the half innings the Twins pitched...

(but of course i'm merely being difficult)

I did not know that.....I mean, I'd like Jeffers in there more....but I'm 99% sure Maeda wants Vazquez.

Then He Shall Pitch to Vazquez!

(So let it be written, so let it be done!)

I'm merely being detail oriented. Not yet ready for the big picture.

Does the leave last as long as the condition?

Tomorrow it may pour again.

I hear the country wants some rain.

Yet people say (i know not why)

that we shall have a warm July.

I'm going out on a short limb, and saying Buxton will have a strong finish.  I think having a healthy child, will ease his mind and let him concentrate on baseball.
