Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 The Twins have a pretty brutal stretch of games until they face the Tigers a little over a month from now. First up is the Dodgers but thankfully, Minnesota gets to face Syndergaard in the opener. The Dodgers haven't yet been able to sprinkle their magic pitcher pixie dust on Thor yet, hopefully it stays that way through at least tonight.
Craig Arko Old-Timey Member Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Doubtful this old **** will stay up late enough to watch these night games, but I’m thinking a 3-3 split would be pretty good. The bats need to stay alive.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Tough stretch of games and I think it's time for them to handle a left handed pitcher. I'm not sure that pitcher is Kershaw, but they also get Detmers and Sandoval in Anaheim.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 Angels have placed Rendon on the IL, meaning we'll see Gio at third, probably for the whole series. Honestly, I wish him well, just so long as the Twins win.
CRF Verified Member Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 West coast games are way too late for this fossil. I'll watch a couple innings and then it's off to dream-land for me. I'll be checking the score first thing in the morning.

Unwinder Verified Member Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 This year so far "struggling name-brand pitcher" is scarier to me than "ace."
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 These late start times are just too much. SEVEN TEN PM START TIME here in Tucson??!? Ridiculous.

Mortimerkenny21 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2023 Posted May 15, 2023 I wake up at 0600 CT and won't be staying awake for it. Maybe I will listen until 2230-2300 depending on how it's going. Go Twins!! Will there be crickets chirping on the game thread after the 5th inning?

LA Vikes Fan Verified Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Really? It's barely dinner time here in LA. By the way, tonight is Mookie Betts bobblehead night at Dodger stadium. Don't know if that helps or hurts, but the place will be full.

mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Want Pablo lopez , not Brad Radke Again,
9moons27 Verified Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Lopez has two good starts, gets a huge contract, and has been ordinary(or worse) since then.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted May 16, 2023 Posted May 16, 2023 Interesting how, even with replay, the calls always go in favor of the big city teams.
