Wow - you seem to have forgotten much about the Sex Pistols.   Go watch the movie “Sid and Nancy”.  Their bass player, Sid Vicious, certainly abused his girlfriends, and ultimately killed Nancy.   He also tortured and killed animals.   The other members were also poorly behaved but to a lesser extent.  Their lyrics could be seen as racist (listen to “Bodies”) and homophobic (“Pills”).
Trevor Bauer is a minor leaguer of bad behavior compared to The Sex Pistols. Remember my prediction:  He will be well behaved in Japan.

Yikes. I stand corrected. As bad as Bauer

Signed to play  in the Japanese league, so "Asian" it is... (not trying to be that "you're wrong I'm right guy" no matter that is sure Looks like it!)

You are right, I was wrong.

This did surprise me. I prefer positive surprises but so it goes.

He's been disliked by many teammates in his own clubhouse going back to his college days.

 ...further back actually.

He could change though.

He sure could change. I was just combatting the idea that the only reason he wasn't signed by a major league team is because he spoke out against Manfred and cheating pitchers. There's far more to it than that. And he's 31. He's not 21. He's given no reason to expect him to change. That doesn't mean he can't change, but he hasn't changed yet, and hasn't provided any evidence that he ever will, so why would a team expect him to? I'm just saying this is very much a self-made problem for him. He's not some innocent guy just trying to stick up to big bad Manfred and being blackballed. This is a guy with a long track record of being a less than ideal teammate and human.

Agree that Bauer worked very hard to create his reputation. I was surprised a team from Japan signed him.

Welcome to Japan Trevor.  Are you going to use this year to showcase what a great guy and teammate you are?  And then hopefully bounce back to the Majors in 2024?

I live in Japan.  I'll check in on ol' Trevor and report any hints of misconduct!

Yeah I'm no expert, but from my understanding, while Japan is fairly forward thinking on many subjects, gender equality is not one of them.
