I may have a really beneficial proposal for the Twins. As we may already know Edwin Diaz has suffered a season ending injury and that the Mets are looking at his brother to be a replacement. Here is where things get interesting though, what if the Twins go after him? The Reds have been a huge trade partner in recent years and we have gotten Gray, Mahle, and Farmer in trades that have been great for us. What if we went after Alexis Diaz in a trade to make the pen one of the best in the league? Here is my trade.

Twins get: RHP Alexis Diaz

Reds get: LHP Caleb Theilbar, OF Matt Wallner, RHP Emilio Pagan

I don't think there's any chance the Reds do that. There's absolutely no upside for them there.

Yeah, not sure why the Reds would want Pagan or Thielbar at all.

Can't see the Reds doing it.

But also, I don't see the Twins doing it either. They've clearly made a concerted effort to get away from pitchers with a high BB% the last couple of years. I think other teams would value Diaz more than the Twins would.

Ah...the old Cincy pipeline! In this case, I can't see the Reds doing that one.

Diaz would be a great addition to our bullpen. However, just can't see the Reds doing that deal.

It's unclear if the Reds would be willing to accept this trade, as they may want more in return.
