I probably will regret saying this, because he'll probably get the game-winning hit, but Ellsbury doesn't look right. He looked really good in spring training (but so did Hicks), but he hasn't been able to make big catches and he isn't really hitting either.

I just sat down to the game 10 minutes ago. Looks like I was not the only one busied with the ancillary.

I'm a Duensing fan. He signed my baseball in Ft. Myers and didn't give me crap when I mistook him for Dozier (people were calling him Brian and he was signing righthanded). It is great to develop lefthanders and BD is a competent lefty who has produced at least equal to his talent.

Nah, it's those new episodes of Big Bang and Two and a Half Men. I also suppose not everyone can find the game on Fox Sports+, and there's that other game where they use a black rubber disc.

Wife's birthday... Had Dinner with the family. Straining to watch the game in the far corner and saying "what" a lot when people were talking to me. cuz I was unfocused trying to watch the game.

Oh we can't do sitcoms every night. We need a fresh side topic idea and it usually arrives fairly naturally.

 

It probably won't happen tonight with two innings left but who knows.

Geez, just looked at AL Central standings and the Twins are holding their own record-wise, but losing ground. Detroit and Cleveland are on a roll.

That is the reason why the Twins are going to have a tough time winning more than 75 games. She-cago is probably a .500 team, Cleveland is much improved, KC is maturing and finally has a decent rotation and Detroit is the best bet in the AL to go to the World Series.

But on the subject of sit coms... Taxi is still my all time favorite. Barney Miller was the best sit com theme.
