Escobar needs to make-up for his error.

Nah... No damage done... If they would have scored... I would have expected him to send me a 50 dollar coupon from Target.

Loved the movie (and the book). Wasn't sure about the series, but the replacements were very good. I loved Harry Morgan as Potter and Larry Linville was a great character. I wish he would have stayed.

What I didn't care for was all the minor characters wanting to continue the series. Called it After-MASH, I forget if it actually aired or if it was just talk.

Love what I see from Arcia, but he's only 22 and I worry what he might look like at 27/28. He's already pretty thick.
He reminds me of Abreu, who never was svelte, but was a pretty good outfielder and a really good baserunner. Maybe Arcia can develop into that, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

bring on the perk!!!!!!!!

You saw the thread discussing his interview with (I think it was) Fangraphs? A thinking man's pitcher. Downright college-talk, even.

Other than being attractive, I don't get the appeal of Beyoncé.

Other than the shutouts, I never quite got Koufax, either.

It was a good show... It jumped the shark when Hot Lips became one of gang.

Parms in as a defensive replacement. Who among us predicted this, during the off-season?

Not I... Said the... Umm... Me

I'd rather watch Nathan wheeze and jerk around on the mound.

I'd rather watch Jenny Dell do that, but to each his own.

Oh, it was on all right. Everything that was good about the series was gone. They preached more and were funny and entertaining less. Klinger, Potter and Mulcahey were all supporting characters and there was no leading man or woman. As much as I liked the characters I couldn't like the show.

Pedro Florimon Jr. left Thursday's game against the Red Sox with a tight right hamstring.

It's not clear at this point how severe the injury is. Florimon Jr. was replaced at shortstop by Eduardo Escobar.

That is something like saying, other than giving us life, I don't get the importance of the sun.

This looks like a friggin Mennonite matchup.

They will be Horse and Buggy racing after game and building stuff with their hands.

I glanced at it earlier. As a geek though, it appealed to me that he liked math.

I never understood why the "Jr." gets attached to a last name, when the last-name-only is used. If Pedro has a brother Fred, he's just Florimon. So should Pedro. He's Pedro Jr., if such distinction is really needed.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled Perk-fest, already in progress.
